Does glutathione help with high blood pressure?
I have high blood pressure due to being over weight.
Answer:
If your weight is the sole cause of your high blood pressure, then glutathione will not help you to lose weight, and in turn help lower your blood pressure. But likely there are other factors here. It's usually not as simple as that.
Take a look at your HDL, LDL, and Triglyceride numbers. If you have a buildup of bad cholesterol in your arteries, then this is also likely a contributing factor to your high blood pressure. Check with your doctor to find out what these numbers are, and if they are high, if you aren't sure. If you are on cholesterol lowering medication, then you have high oxidative stress in your arteries. This can lead to the leading killers in our country today, heart disease and stroke, so it's important to get your numbers down.
If high oxidative stress in your arteries is a contributing factor to your high blood pressure, then glutathione will help you by neutralizing oxidative stress at the cellular level. You can read more about this here.
If you'd like to order Immunocal, you may do so here.
Choose Option 2, ImmunoDirect, for a 20% discount and order one or two boxes a month for three months. That's long enough to see if your blood pressure is reduced.
Raising your glutathione is only part of the equation. Choose a sensible diet and exercise program and make it a goal to lose your excess weight. Your life may depend on it. This along with proper rest and nutrition will help you tremendously and ensure you live a long and healthy life.
